Parenting is hard, and you suffer in silence, too afraid of the judgment of others.  You feel guilty for wanting time to yourself, so you go through day after day sacrificing for your family and wonder, "Why can't I be more like her."  You know who I'm talking about... that friend that seems to go through life with grace, never complaining or raising her voice.  Can I tell you a secret?  She doesn't have "it" figured out - she has her overwhelming moments just like you.

You are not alone.  There are tons of mothers overwhelmed by the demands of parenthood, searching for support amungst the shame they think surrounds them.  Please hear me... There is no shame.   There is only truth that raising kids is HARD, and you need a friend to help you through it.  I'm that friend, and I want to help.

I'm Jess and it's my passion to stop the shaming of mothers by telling some serious truths and finding stitches of time just for you.  In these moments, you can find what YOU need while still giving your family what they need.  After working with hundreds of families over the last 10 years as a NICU nurse, and becoming a mother myself, I have seen (and felt) what "mommy guilt" can do to a person.  It is heart wrenching, completely unnecessary, but so hard to shake.  We ALL struggle with it daily, but I have found some ways to lessen the burden and I desperately want to share them with you.  When you tend to your own needs, you become a better mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend.  I want to show you how.

I don't care if you breastfeed your kids, use cloth diapers, or make your own baby food.  They’re all great choices, but should not be an impetus for a Mommy War.  There is no judgment here.  All I care about is that you love your kids, and I know you do.  Do me a favor, and stop judging yourself... you are enough, and you do enough.  Be yourself, and stop comparing yourself to other mothers.  You have your own unique story to tell, and I want to hear it.

This page is your safe place.  A place where you share your difficulties, I share mine, and we come up with a plan to work through them.  If you have a question, send it to me!  Do you have a baby in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and need help navigating the preemie rollercoaster?  Please reach out to me!!  I want to help!!  My shop features great products for every baby, whether they are healthy at home, or premature and spending months in the NICU.

If you're a mom overwhelmed and plagued by guilt, I'm with you.  Go to your local coffee shop... let's be honest, you deserve some alone time... sit down with your favorite cup of Joe and chat with me.

I can't wait to hear your story.
